Bytes

Bytes is a sentient robot that's in love with life and human culture. She lives like a teenage girl, decorating her bedroom (that she doesn't even have to sleep in), painting her nails (That she doesn't even have, the paint is on the plastic of her fingers), and of course, fawning over her human boy crush at school. She's plugged ribbon cables into her head to have hair to style, and welded washers onto her head to have her ears pierced.

And of course, her ribbon cables would overheat if she actually tried to use her hairdryer on them--so it's become her weapon instead! A hairdryer is just an air thrower after all, why not add some fire!

Bytes is a creature of joy. Maybe some day, her crush will notice her, and get to know her well enough to understand her, but with a faceplate that hardly moves, and a body made of metal, sometimes it feels like trying to express herself to humans is a constant losing battle. Regardless, she carries a curiousity and love that she wants people to see, even if it's trapped in a body of metal.
