Skeletal Studies (Life Drawing)

Studies of the human skeleton based off model poses in front of me. It was so fun to practice just the skeleton from a live model, I felt like I had to turn on X-Ray goggles! I also tried to spend some extra time practicing the pelvis/hips--it's such a strange shape, but it's where the root control of most 3D Animated characters lies, so understanding how it works was important to me as a 3D artist as well. Overall, these studies helped me so much to improve my understanding of the human body. All drawings were done with pencil on paper, collaged digitally.
